On life and death. And living up to your potential

Hello beautiful people,

Today we lost a soul; a beautiful soul.

This is life, this is how it has always been, and this how it will always be.

We're all just passengers in this world. We all come once and go once.
Some of us with a mission, some us without. Some of us leaving a trace, a beautiful trace of that short passage on earth. A short passage it is if we take into account the life of this world; 4.543 billion years. This is an infinite number of lives, an incredible number of civilizations that have risen and fallen.

This my friends is not a poem, this is not literature. This is just a wake up call for all us. To all those who need it; and we all need it every now and then.
This is a wake up call to everyone to question how many of us are living every day a hundred deaths.
How many of us are navigating through their existence and missing on life. Forgetting to really breath, forgetting to see the light.

When those beautiful souls are gone, we need to remember that life is beautiful. Despite all the hardships of life, despite all the failures, despite all the downs. Because with every down is an up, and with every failure is a success. With every hard moment is ease and prosperity. This is life and this is the beauty of it. This is how we can savor life and taste every moment of it. A life full of joy and happiness doesn't exist and even if it was to exist it wouldn't be as exciting. That's for sure.

Today when our loved ones are gone, think. Think about what they left us. Think about how they touched us. How they touched all the people around them. How they touched their families, their friends, their acquaintances and even the strangers on the streets.
If there was to be a meaning to life, it couldn't be any deeper than that.
At the end of the day it is not and will never be about what car we drove, what brand we wore and how much cash we spent. It is only about how we lived and honored that one life that we have. How pleasant we made it for us and for others, and of course how balanced and fulfilled we felt deep inside.
This is how we can let others remember us. This is how we can leave a beautiful legacy behind us.

Live life as if today was your last day they say. We all hear that over and over again; and yet so many of us still fail to abide by that saying. It's really not that hard though. Really it isn't that hard.
To make it simpler, just keep asking yourselves. In 10, 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years from now what would I regret about what I'm doing today? What would I regret about what I'm not doing? Do you have any answer? Then listen to that voice! Just do it! Do what it's telling you to do! Or stop it if it's something you're doing wrong.
Deep inside we all know what we're doing or not doing wrong or what we need to do better. All we need is a true moment with ourselves. A moment we can converse with our deepest thoughts. A moment of silence, a moment of complete disconnectivity.
And this my friends is the only true moment we can all find the answers to our biggest questions .
This is the moment where nothing else in life matters and no one else's opinion matters. You found and met your inner-self. You found your truth. You found your reality. You took back control of your life!

I will end it here and all I truly wish is that this message would have arrived to your hearts and souls in its rawest forms. That it truly meant something for you to having read this, and that hopefully it helps change a little something in you for the better.

Stand up, do what you need to do. So that your future self can be proud of what you have achieved. So that the people you leave behind can look up and say: this human being knew how to live his life!

Rest In Peace

In loving memory to you Graziena.

In loving memory to my grandparents.

My aunt Ghada; 13 years later and I can still see your beautiful smile under the sun in our garden; I can still see you choosing the songs for our best new year.

To all the the beautiful souls...

REST IN PEACE
